Adults-only hotels in Ortisei

Ortisei is the main centre of the Val Gardena, with shops, a pedestrian zone and lifts that start from the village: convenient, but also the busiest place in the valley. The three verified properties without children serve exactly that purpose, staying at the centre of things and still having a silent evening.

Living the village without enduring it

The pedestrian zone is alive from the afternoon onwards, and in high season very much so. Anyone after quiet has two roads: choosing a house just outside the core, on the slopes rising on both sides, or accepting the central position and relying on a property that filters the public at the door. Further up the valley, Santa Cristina and Selva also have addresses without children. The three available cover both logics, and it is worth looking carefully at where they are before deciding.

Between Dolomiti Superski and Puez-Odle

In winter from here you enter the Dolomiti Superski circuit, with modern lifts that take you quickly to altitude; in summer the register changes and you head towards the Puez-Odle nature park, where the paths thin out as you climb. The weeks of Christmas, February and August are the most crowded; June and September remain the months when the valley is still fully usable but far quieter.

As everywhere in South Tyrol, check the exact arrangement: fully adults only or only the wellness area reserved for adults. In a place where you ski or walk all day and the spa is the moment of decompression, knowing who you will find at the saunas is not a detail.
