Alpin Garden Luxury Maison

The Alpin Garden is in via J. Skasa, on the slope that looks down on Ortisei, far enough out of the centre to have real silence and close enough to reach it with the free shuttle, which also runs to the lifts. It is a five-star hotel of only thirty rooms, a maison more than a hotel, recognisable for the burnt wood and golden details that define its architecture.

The wellness area is reserved for the guests of the house, who are adults only: there is no family area, there are no shared time slots. The sauna world, textil free, opens in the afternoon and lines up three cabins: the Gold Finnish sauna at ninety degrees behind a panoramic window, the aromatic bio one at sixty and the Himalayan salt one at forty-five. One detail to know before booking: there is no steam bath, and anyone looking for one does well to know it now.

There are, on the other hand, two whirlpools, one indoors and one warm in the garden, two separate relaxation areas, a lounge and the herbal tea corner. The lifestyle indoor pool stays open twenty-four hours a day, with bubble loungers and counter-current swimming, which makes it possible to swim late in the evening with the mountains dark in front of you. Outdoors the second pool, heated, looks at the Dolomites. The ART Spa is completed by the Gold Gym facing the peaks and a wide card of treatments: hot stone and ayurvedic massages, thalasso wraps, alpine honey peelings, Swiss pine baths, couples' rituals in the private spa.
