Lana is a village that works: apple orchards as far as the eye can see, vineyards, a rural rhythm that was not built for tourists and that for precisely that reason works well for anyone wanting silence. The only property reserved for adults in the catalogue sits in this farming context, not in a holiday resort built around the slopes.

Living among the orchards instead of in the village centre

The days here have a different pace. You walk among the orchards and the vineyards, you climb towards the wooded slopes when you want something more demanding, you come back in time for the afternoon. The village's heritage, from the parish church to the small local museums, is visited in a few hours and generates no queues. Anyone after society evenings will be disappointed; anyone wanting quiet dinners and no noise after ten finds what they came for.

Blossom and harvest: two windows to watch

Lana's calendar is the calendar of fruit. The spring blossom and the harvest period, with the festivals and markets that come with it, are the moments when the village is liveliest; winter, with no lifts in the village, remains the quietest season of all and often the best value.

With a single address available it is worth settling the arrangement at once: no minors in the whole property, or a spa reserved for adults in a hotel also open to families. Outside South Tyrol the second option barely exists, while in the province of Bolzano it is common and should be read carefully before confirming.
