- Holiday homes
Casa Vacanze Corallo is a seafront apartment in Termoli, on the Sant'Antonio beach side, with the old town and the Swabian castle within walking distance along the corso and the station a couple of steps away for those arriving by train. Inside everything is new: a double bedroom, a bathroom with a mosaic shower, an island kitchen with dishwasher and oven, a smart TV and a balcony with a small table catching the morning sun. The house rules reserve it for adults and do not allow animals, which in Termoli at the height of summer is worth more than any extra service.

Molise stays off the mass tourism routes, and for a couple after quiet that is already a starting point. The selected properties are few, though: in the province of Campobasso we have verified one, in Montenero di Bisaccia.
One address towards the Adriatic, not in the city
The provincial capital concentrates the services but not the hospitality designed for a couple: the only verified address is in the lower part of the province, a short way from the sea. For you that changes how the days are organised, because the sea is reached without sleeping on the seafront and Campobasso becomes an outing rather than an obligatory stop.
Campobasso, the castle and the centre
The provincial capital is visited in half a day: the castle dominating the town from above, with an open view over the valley, and the old centre below. It is a genuine provincial town, with no tourist coaches, and in the evening you eat well in the trattorias, among hand-made pasta and local cheeses.
The Matese and the rural villages
To the south-west the Matese massif offers woods, valleys and paths for walking or cycling, with a level of crowding that no longer exists elsewhere. Around it, small rural villages where nothing happens, which here is exactly the point. People who come to Molise usually come on purpose, not in passing, and that changes the kind of people you meet in the breakfast room. The best seasons are spring and early autumn, when the walking is good and the temperatures stay kind.
