La Cort My Dollhouse

La Cort My Dollhouse is in via Pineies, on the rise that looks over the roofs of Ortisei, in the territory of Castelrotto, in the stretch of Val Gardena that faces the Alpe di Siusi on one side and the peaks of the Odle group on the other. It is not a village hotel: you are outside the centre, with the valley floor below and the view open, and Ortisei is a few minutes down the road.

The Rooftop Spa

The wellness area is at the top of the building and it is the reason for coming here. The infinity pool is heated and fitted with a whirlpool: the edge is lost in the landscape and swimming becomes a view over the Dolomites, usable on cold days too. There are three saunas and they cover different registers: the panoramic Finnish sauna, with its window onto the valley, the herbal bio sauna in the area where you stay clothed, gentler in temperature, and the humid steam bath in the costume free area. Between one session and the next there are the ice fountain for thermal contrast and the relaxation room with the armchairs turned towards the peaks. Anyone who wants to move will find a fitness room with Technogym equipment.

The rule on age

The house is adults only throughout: there is no family area and adults only area, the rule holds in the room, at the table and on the roof. The spa can also be booked as a day spa by people who are not staying overnight.

The rhythm of the day is designed for adults as well: breakfast until late in the morning and a linner buffet in the late afternoon instead of half board at a fixed time. Twenty six rooms in six categories, contemporary furnishings, no queue at the sauna. Suited to anyone who skis or walks during the day and wants quiet in the evening.
