CaMì Romantic House is in via della Amalfitania, in the heart of Ortigia, the island that is the historic centre of Syracuse. Booking puts the Fonte Aretusa beach at four hundred metres and lists the Duomo, the Fonte Aretusa and the Castello Maniace among the surroundings; Catania Fontanarossa airport is sixty six kilometres away and the house arranges a shuttle at extra cost.

The whole unit is let: sixty square metres with one bedroom, a living room, the kitchen with utensils, fridge and coffee machine, and a bathroom with shower. The day area and the sleeping area are divided by an internal staircase, and the owner warns that the bathroom and the shower are open to view: the house suits those who accept sharing the space. Volcanic rock, sandstone and fragments of wooden beams are set into the walls of the living room and the bedroom; there is air conditioning, wifi throughout the property, bed linen and towels; the house also declares a sea view and a shared lounge.

Anyone looking for a spa should know beforehand: there is no sauna, steam bath, whirlpool or swimming pool here. Pets are allowed and the property warns that an extra charge may be requested. The house has no parking space of its own and points to the Marina car park, eighty metres away, outside the limited traffic zone.
