Be Vedetta Relais & Glamping

BeVedetta is in località Poggio La Forcola, above Scarlino, in the Maremma around Grosseto: a private hill inside the Riserva Naturale di Scarlino, with the olive grove around it and the sea of the Golfo di Follonica four kilometres away. From the top the eye reaches the island of Elba and, on clear days, Corsica.

The property brings together three different ways of sleeping in the same place. The Relais gathers eight suites created in the farmhouse, with furnishings that set antique pieces alongside contemporary design and bathrooms clad in marble. The Glamping lines up eight lodge tents raised on stilts among the olive trees, looking onto the sea or onto the village of Scarlino. Then there is the townhouse in the village. Everywhere there is a king size bed, independent air conditioning, wi fi, a TV with Sky, a minibar and a coffee machine.

The panoramic pool and wellness

The heart of the day is the Relaxing Pool, an outdoor pool made with a sustainable mix of resin and quartz powder, whose colour changes with the light of the hours and of the seasons. Sunbeds and umbrellas are partly at the poolside, among plants and flowers, and partly on more secluded terraces for those looking for privacy. Around it, the restaurant Rosso Corbezzolo and breakfast served under the portico until late morning.

On one point it is worth being explicit: inside the property there is no wellness area. No sauna, no steam bath, no shared hot tub. Wellness here is the pool, the silence and the view. For a spa the staff arrange a day at the thermal baths in the area, from Calidario to Petriolo, Saturnia and Sorano.

Entry is for adults only, from eighteen years. Pets are welcome both in the Relais and in the Glamping. The right address for couples and solo travellers who want countryside, the sea nearby and no background noise.
