Arcipelago 37 is at via Napoli 37, in the Marina district of Cagliari, a few steps from via Roma as the property itself writes. Booking measures three hundred metres from the Palazzo Civico and two kilometres and four hundred metres from the Fiera Internazionale della Sardegna, and lists the Torre dell'Elefante, the Orto Botanico and the port among the places nearby; Piazza Yenne, Piazza del Carmine and the University are in the surroundings. Giorgino beach is two kilometres and six hundred metres away and Cagliari Elmas airport ten.

It is a guesthouse of five rooms created inside an old palazzo. The property tells of refurbishment work carried out in 2018 and 2019 to bring back to light the building's original paintings and cement floor tiles, combined with a contemporary style, and of the light from the courtyards that crosses the whole house; the name comes from a book by Massimo Cacciari devoted to the Mediterranean and to Europe, and the rooms are conceived as islands. The rooms have air conditioning, a private bathroom with bidet and toiletries, a flat screen television, a desk, bed linen and towels; some have a balcony. The accommodation is declared entirely allergen free and the rooms are non smoking.

Breakfast is served on site and Booking presents it in three forms, buffet, à la carte or continental; Booking gives the property its Excellent Breakfast award. Among the facilities there are also heating, free wifi throughout the property and parking. There is no swimming pool, sauna, steam bath or massage room.
