Androsa Apartments

The address is via Resinola 2, in Amalfi, on the side of the valley that climbs towards the old paper mills. Booking measures two hundred metres from the Paper Museum, five hundred from the Cloister of Paradise, six hundred from the Arsenal of the Republic and from the Amalfi bus station, and six hundred and fifty from the Valle delle Ferriere. Marina Grande beach is given at five hundred and fifty metres, Atrani beach at 1.2 kilometres. The gardens of Villa Cimbrone are given at 1.2 kilometres, the Terrace of Infinity at 1.5, Villa Rufolo at 2.8; the cathedral of Ravello, which Booking measures separately, is 3.8 kilometres away. Salerno Costa d'Amalfi airport is forty-four kilometres away, Naples Capodichino sixty-one; the property offers a paid airport shuttle.

It is a whole unit, not a room in a shared house: Booking describes it as an apartment of twenty-two square metres with one bedroom, one bathroom, a dining area, a kitchen fitted with utensils, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, bed linen and towels, air conditioning and a terrace that opens onto the garden. The garden is one of the features guests mention most often and appears among the main services together with luggage storage, the tour desk and soundproofed rooms. There is paid private parking, which Booking states, however, is not owned by the property.

On age the rule is blunt and is read in Booking's Child policies block: children are not allowed. The same page adds that there are no cots or extra beds. No figure is published, and the property has no website of its own to consult, so this entry records the exclusion of minors with no declared threshold. Booking also specifies that no minimum age is required for check-in: that is a different figure and does not concern who may stay.

Anyone looking for a spa or a pool should know beforehand: there are none here. Travellers' questions about a spa, a pool, a hot tub and a gym correspond to no declared feature. What there is is the garden with its terrace, and the rest is Amalfi outside the door: the centre is reached on foot in a few minutes, and the house is far enough from the main street to stay quiet in the evening.

To know for the stay: arrival is between fourteen and eighteen and must be given to the property in advance, departure is at ten. Payment is in cash or by debit card. There is no smoking and pets are not allowed. The published licence number is 15065006EXT0031.
