Villa Rufolo is four kilometres away, the gardens of Villa Cimbrone four and two, the Terrace of Infinity four and three; the village of Ravello, which the property's website measures separately, is seven and a half kilometres away, and Amalfi four and a half according to the website and five according to Booking. The Amalfi bus station is five kilometres away, Salerno Costa d'Amalfi airport thirty-seven and Naples Capodichino fifty-seven.

It is a three-star hotel, and Booking classifies it among hotels. The property's website recounts that the Civale family has been welcoming guests since 1965 and that the hotel also carries the name Piccolo Saraceno; the rooms are on the fifth floor of a building with a lift, and the panoramic breakfast room, called Aldebaran, on the sixth. The rooms have Saracen-style furnishings and Vietri ceramics, a flat-screen TV, heating, air conditioning, a fridge, a safe and free WiFi, a private bathroom with a hairdryer and toiletries, and some have a balcony.
