Akrogiali Exclusive Hotel (Adults Only)

The Akrogiali Exclusive is in the village of Polichrono, on the eastern side of the Kassandra peninsula, in Halkidiki: a quiet street sixty metres from the coast, with the blue-flag beach stretching out in front. It is the first hotel built in Polichrono and the same family has run it for forty years, now with the second generation: you feel it in the care of the service, which here is a habit and not a procedure.

Three categories of room, all for adults

The rooms range from eighteen to twenty-four square metres and fall into three types. The Classic has a sun-shaded balcony facing the inner courtyard, the Superior looks over the garden, the Sauna Double Room adds a private sauna in the bathroom: it is the only wellness space in the house, reserved for whoever books that category. All have adjustable air conditioning, a minibar, a safe, satellite TV, a Nespresso machine and a tea set, a bathroom with a rain shower, a bathrobe and slippers. Wifi is free everywhere, all the rooms are non-smoking and each of the three categories takes adults only: the rule applies to the entire hotel, with no exceptions and no separate areas.

Breakfast, table and beach life

The Greek breakfast is included and is ordered à la carte, with over thirty offerings including certified local produce, yoghurt, honey and hot dishes prepared to order. The restaurant works on creative Greek cooking, between dining room and terrace, and the lounge bar welcomes you with a drink on arrival. Among the included services there are personalised check-in, beach towels, water in the room on arrival, a welcome gift and late check-out subject to availability. There is no pool and no shared wellness area: it is a three-star beach boutique hotel, suited to anyone who wants the sea on foot, quiet dinners and no children around.
