AEON Hotel B&B

AEON is on via della Diga, in Soprabolzano, on the Renon plateau that opens above Bolzano. It is a small house, fifteen rooms and suites, where contemporary architecture is grafted onto a farmhouse of traditional build: inside there are warm materials and clean lines, outside the meadow, the garden and the view running along the peaks. It is not a large hotel with entertainment and timetables, it is a design bed and breakfast with a bistro, designed for adults who want quiet and attention to detail.

The panoramic spa and the pool

The wellness area is on the first floor and looks out at the mountains. It includes a Finnish sauna with a window onto the landscape and a steam room, which here really does exist and warms you up above all on cooler days, as well as relaxation rooms and loungers spread between indoors and outdoors. Massages are booked separately: on request the masseuse comes to the hotel. Do not expect an equipped gym, and the owners say so with irony, claiming to have the largest fitness room in the world, that is, the paths of the Renon.

There is one pool, outdoors, infinity-edged, panoramic and always kept well heated: there is no indoor pool, so the water is the outdoor kind, which the temperature nonetheless makes usable even when the mountain air is cold. Some accommodation, including the suite, has a private whirlpool tub in the room.

The house is reserved for adults: there are not two areas, one for families and one for guests without children, because the whole property follows the same rule. An address for anyone looking for walks by day and steam, warm water and a long breakfast on their return.
