Adler Hotel Andalo Wellness and Spa

The Adler Meryem is in the heart of Andalo, on the Paganella plateau, about a hundred metres from the ski lifts and a few minutes on foot from the centre of the village. It is a family house that has been welcoming guests since 1952, today a four-star wellness hotel of fifty-nine rooms with painted or vaulted ceilings, parquet and, in most cases, a balcony facing the Brenta Dolomites.

The kitchen alternates Trentino dishes with international offerings, with a five-course menu in the evening and a wine list of over two hundred labels. Wi-Fi, parking and bicycles are included, as is the Trentino Guest Card, which opens up public transport and reductions across the region.

The two souls of the wellness area

Here the distinction matters, because the hotel also works with families and has a mini club. The Dolomiti Vital Pool is open to everyone: twenty metres of water, nine indoors and eleven outdoors, heated to thirty-three degrees all year round, with whirlpool zones and relaxation corners, and low-chlorine water treatment. You can swim in March, and you swim outdoors with snow around you.

The Sensorial Wellness World is the reserved area: steam room, alpine event sauna, hay bio sauna, three dedicated relaxation zones and a large whirlpool tub, plus the beauty farm for massages and treatments. The steam room is there, and it is a real facility and not a makeshift. Entry is barred to under-14s, so it is not an adults-only area in the strict sense but a space that children do not enter. Worth knowing in advance: in the sauna area swimwear is not allowed, the whirlpool tub included.
