100 Boutique Living stands at number one hundred of St. Rita Street, in the centre of Rabat, the town that gathers around the walls of Mdina: the medieval fortified city is within walking distance, which means being able to walk its streets in the evening, when the coaches have left and only the stone and the lamps remain. It is a family house turned into a boutique bed and breakfast, reserved for adults, designed for anyone who wants quiet rather than a large hotel.

Rooms and terraces

The comfort rooms measure sixteen to eighteen square metres, the deluxe reach twenty-two and have a private balcony, while the superior rooms are spacious, over forty square metres: two of them have a private terrace with loungers and outdoor furniture, and one has a free-standing tub in the room. At the top is the Penthouse Suite, with an indoor sitting area, a furnished private terrace and a whirlpool tub for the exclusive use of whoever books it.

One point the booking agencies leave ambiguous should be made clear: there is no shared pool, and there is no wellness centre. No sauna, no steam room, no gym. The whirlpool is the private one in the Penthouse. The shared outdoor space is the seventy-six square metre sun terrace, open at any hour of the day or night, which remains the place where the day ends.

Included are the à la carte breakfast served in the morning, free wifi, climate-controlled air conditioning in every room, the lift serving all three floors and full accessibility throughout. A beautician and a hairdresser can be booked by appointment. The whole house is non-smoking.
