Description

The house is in vicolo Rosso, in the centre of Dolceacqua, the village of the val Nervia in the province of Imperia. The hosts describe it as a house in the village, reachable by car, at the foot of the hill, close to the shops and restaurants and in a quiet area. Booking counts sixteen kilometres to the Hanbury Botanical Gardens, twenty-one to the Jean Cocteau Museum, twenty-four to the Fort of Santa Tecla, to the co-cathedral of San Siro and to piazza Bresca in Sanremo, nine to the Bagni Oasi beach; the railway stations of Bevera and Airole are ten and eleven kilometres away, the Monaco heliport thirty-three and Nice Côte d'Azur airport fifty-five.

It is an independent unit of ninety square metres taken as a whole, with one bedroom and a double bed. Booking lists the terrace, the mountain and city view, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a kitchen with a fridge, a dishwasher and an oven, and a bathroom with bidet and hairdryer. The WiFi is free, there is air conditioning, the private parking is free on site and the unit is non-smoking. The hosts, Valeria Torchio and Fabrizio Bruno, present it as a boutique home: their website describes it as a stone building on three floors, with the terrace facing the Doria castle, and the host's listing on Booking says the same.

On site there is a restaurant, Casa e bottega, of Italian cooking, open for lunch and dinner, which Booking classifies as traditional: the host's listing explains that the owner is a restaurateur in the village and wanted to offer accommodation to his customers, and the restaurant's website is also the house's website. The licence number is the same in both sources, 008029-LT-0124, which serves to say it is the same house. There is no wellness area: the property declares no spa, sauna, steam bath, hot tub or pool.

The rule on age is written by Booking in its Child policies block: children are not allowed, and cots and extra beds are not available at the property. No figure is published, so the ban applies to all minors; the line saying that no minimum age is required concerns check-in and is another matter. The page was read twice, with a five-year-old in the search and with no children, and the block does not change.

Check-in is from fifteen to eighteen and check-out from eight to eleven, with the time of arrival to be given in advance. There is no smoking, no parties or events are held and pets are not allowed; the property does not accept stag or hen gatherings.
