Sikelia rooms B&B is on via Nino Bixio, one of the inner streets of San Vito Lo Capo, in the province of Trapani. Booking gives five hundred metres to the beach of San Vito Lo Capo: you get there on foot, and on foot you stay, because the whole town is within a few minutes' walk. Segesta is forty-eight kilometres away, the Grotta Mangiapane and the Baia di Cornino twenty-three.

The house was refurbished recently and it shows: white walls, pale floors, plain furniture. The rooms have air conditioning, a flat-screen television and a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and toiletries; some open onto a balcony with a view of the mountain that closes off the town. There is private parking but it is charged separately, and the shuttle from Trapani airport is available on request for a fee.

The age rule comes from Booking, in the children's conditions block, and it is categorical: children are not allowed. There are no cots and no extra beds. The eighteen years given on the page are only the minimum age for check-in, which is a different matter. The same page, however, adds in its good-to-know block that guests under eighteen may check in if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian: the two lines contradict each other and the property has no website to clarify which one holds, so the rule should be confirmed before booking. Pets are not allowed and payment is by cash only.

There is no wellness area: no sauna, steam room, hydromassage tub or pool. The place to sit is the roof terrace, with its row of loungers and the view over the roofs of the town, and the common room, where breakfast is served in the morning: the property states a buffet with Italian and gluten-free options. There are also rooms accessible to guests with disabilities.
