The Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti is in via Alpe di Grual, on the wooded slope that climbs above Pinzolo, the main town of Val Rendena, inside the Madonna di Campiglio ski area. Contemporary alpine architecture, large windows onto the peaks, the main restaurant Dolomia and the gastronomic restaurant Grual, a covered garage with valet service and a free shuttle to the Pinzolo lifts in the winter season.

The spa, five thousand square metres on several levels

The Mondo Lefay SPA is included in the rate. The water area has an indoor sports pool clad in tonalite, kept between twenty seven and twenty nine degrees, and an indoor and outdoor pool between thirty three and thirty four degrees that continues into the open air and opens onto the landscape. The picture is completed by a large whirlpool with water enriched with magnesium salts, the heated salt lake with its salt grotto, the ice tub, the Kneipp walk and the ice waterfall. There are nine saunas, spread over five circuits: panoramic Finnish sauna, aroma sauna, essence sauna, Lady Sauna, and the Tigre Bianca area with tepidarium and calidarium at ninety five per cent humidity, the true steam bath of the house. Sensory showers and relaxation areas with their own phytotherapy accompany each circuit, while the Technogym fitness centre is open twenty four hours.

On the rule about age some clarity is needed: the property takes a limited number of children up to eleven years in dedicated rooms, and in the spa the little ones may stay only at the level of the indoor and outdoor pool, where there is also a Family Sauna with a steam bath. Treatments, energy saunas, the sports pool, the whirlpool and the fitness area are reserved for adults from sixteen years. Two separate worlds, then, with the finest part of the wellness circuit entirely for those travelling without children.
