Hotel Noce

The Hotel Noce is at via dei Gelsi 5, in the Noce district, in western Brescia, one kilometre from the Brescia Ovest junction of the A4 and a few minutes from the Brixia Forum exhibition centre. It is an area of low houses and warehouses, not a tourist address, and that is exactly why it works: anyone arriving by car parks without circling, anyone coming for the trade fair is there in five minutes, and the old centre of Brescia is a handful of kilometres away. The annexe, Villa Noce, is at via della Seta 14, a hundred metres further on, and holds further rooms as well as the fenced car park.

How it is built

The house has belonged to the Pedroni family since 1990 and in 2026 it was converted into a wine hotel: the twenty-four rooms, spread between the main building and Villa Noce, were redone with an avowedly oenological theme, with headboards made from old wooden wine crates. The types are single, double, economy double and multiple room for groups. Every room has a private bathroom, a memory foam mattress, a safe, a hairdryer, a digital television, a minibar, fast wifi and an adjustable thermostat; the rooms are sanitised with ozone. On the ground floor are the bar and reception. The restaurant is called Carne & Spirito and is the reason the hotel ends up in the guides: it works with quality meats and a cellar of over seven hundred Italian and foreign labels, with a sommelier service, and it is mentioned by Michelin, by Gambero Rosso and by the other national guides. Breakfast is a buffet and included in the price. Outside there is a small space with a pergola where tables are laid in summer.

The wellness area and the pools

Here there is none: the Hotel Noce has no wellness centre and no pools, neither indoor nor outdoor. No sauna, steam bath, hot tub, relaxation room or treatment cabins are on record. The property says so in its own way in its frequently asked questions, explaining that the spaces are small: it is a hotel of twenty-four rooms built around the table and the cellar, not around water.

The rules of access

The booking portal states that children are not allowed and gives no minimum age in figures. The official website publishes no threshold in years: in its frequently asked questions it writes that the spaces are small and do not allow it to receive families with small children well. Neither source therefore says from what year upwards you may sleep here, and anyone travelling with a minor must ask for written confirmation before booking. The other rules are blunt: pets are not allowed, by choice and for lack of suitable space, and there is no smoking anywhere. Check-in is from 14 to 23 Monday to Saturday and from 17 to 23 on Sunday; departure is by 10, but may be extended to midday at no surcharge. The car park is fenced and watched, is at Villa Noce a hundred metres away, costs 5 euros a night and must be booked.

Who it suits

It suits anyone coming to Brescia for work or for the trade fair who wants to sleep near the motorway without giving up eating well, anyone touring the cellars of the Franciacorta and Lake Garda looking for a base with a real wine list, and anyone who prefers a family-run house to a chain. It suits less anyone who wants a spa or a pool, anyone travelling with a dog, anyone looking for a position within walking distance of the old centre and anyone who needs space: here the spaces are small, and the property says so openly.
