Heart of Bern is at Rathausgasse 39, in the Old Town of Bern, the part of the capital protected by UNESCO and lined with arcades. Booking gives the Einstein House at twenty metres, the Zytglogge, that is the clock tower, at a hundred and fifty, the Rudolf von Erlach Pärkli at two hundred and fifty, the Untertorbrücke at six hundred and fifty, the Bear Pit at seven hundred and fifty and the Grosse Schanze at nine hundred and fifty; the Botanical Garden is given at one kilometre and the Paul Klee Museum at two point two. In its description the property adds the Münster cathedral at two hundred metres and the Parliament at five hundred. Among the nearby places Booking lists the restaurants Bonbec and Tredicipercento at forty metres and the bar On Tap Craftgallery at fifty. Bern-Belp airport is the nearest, at five kilometres. The score is 8.9 from a hundred and eighty-seven reviews and the location is rated 9.7.

The age rule is a ban without a figure. In the children's conditions block Booking writes that children are not allowed and adds that there are no cots and extra beds available; no children's equipment appears on the page, so nothing contradicts the ban. No source, however, publishes a number: the apartment has no website of its own and Booking remains the only source, and the same page specifies that no minimum age for check-in is required. This page therefore gives no age, because the property does not publish one.

The whole apartment is booked, twenty square metres for two people with a double bed. There is a private kitchen with a kitchenette, oven, toaster, fridge, hob and kettle, a coffee machine, a flat-screen television and a private bathroom with a bath or shower; bed linen is included and the WiFi is free in all areas, rated 9.5 by guests. Two practical points. Arrival is from 16 and departure at 11, and the time of arrival must be given to the property in advance. Payment is by credit card and cash is not accepted. Smoking is not allowed, parties and events may not be held, pets are not allowed and the house asks for quiet between 22 and 7.
