Casa Elisa Lipari

Casa Elisa is on the island of Lipari, in the municipality of Città di Lipari, on the side that looks at the sea and the town: Booking gives Canneto beach at 1.2 kilometres, the cathedral of San Bartolomeo at 2.7 kilometres and the Aeolian Regional Archaeological Museum at 3.2 kilometres. The street does not appear in the property's listing, which publishes only the municipality.

It is a whole villa for one party only: two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen fitted with utensils, a fridge and a coffee machine, two bathrooms with a shower and toiletries. Bed linen and towels are provided, there is air conditioning, and outside there are the garden, the barbecue, a terrace and a balcony with the view. The private parking is free and the wifi is included.

The rule on age comes from Booking, in its Child policies block: children aged at least fourteen are welcome, and the house provides no cots or extra beds. It is a threshold above twelve that applies to the whole house, and there is no owners' website to deny it or confirm it.

There is no pool, sauna or other wellness provision: the outdoor spaces are the garden, the pergola and the terrace. Anyone who wants to walk finds the island's paths within reach, and the house can arrange car hire, useful because the distances from Canneto and from the centre make themselves felt on foot.

In high season Lipari is the hub of the archipelago's connections and the centre stays lively until late; in winter the hydrofoil traffic thins out and the island becomes a village again. Pets are not allowed.
