Casa Collegio Ascona

Casa Collegio is at via Collegio 24, in the historic core of Ascona, on the Swiss shore of Lake Maggiore. Booking gives piazza Ascona at fifty metres, the Antica Osteria Vacchini at twenty metres, the Falconeria in Locarno at 2.6 kilometres and piazza Grande in Locarno at three kilometres; the setting is that of the boutiques and restaurants of the centre, and the page also notes the chance of water sports and diving nearby.

The whole apartment is booked, with a private entrance. The sitting room is separate and includes a sofa, a sofa bed, a dining table, a seating area and the TV; the kitchenette is fitted with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, coffee machine and crockery. There are one bedroom and one bathroom, the latter with a bath, and the unit provides wardrobe space and a hairdryer. Booking also notes a small coffee bar in the property, as well as free WiFi and a reception open 24 hours a day.

The age rule is set out in the children's conditions published by Booking: children are not allowed. The same page specifies that there are no cots and no extra beds available, and no children's equipment appears among the services. The apartment publishes no figure, however, and the page in fact states that no minimum age for check-in is required: Casa Collegio makes no age of its own known. The property gives no website, so Booking remains the only source here.

The rules are those of a house in an inhabited core: smoking is not allowed, parties and events are not held, the property does not accept hen or stag groups and asks for quiet between 22 and 7. Pets are not allowed.
