Children are allowed, and the house has family rooms, a garden with sun terraces, a play area and the summer restaurant Grotto al Sasso. The wellness area, on the other hand, is divided by floor, and that is the reason why the house appears in this catalogue.

The spa is called Oasi Belvedere, it is open to outside guests too with day packages and season tickets, and the house measures it at eight hundred square metres indoors and one thousand four hundred outdoors. The wellness page describes it like this: "the new facility extends over two floors, one of which is dedicated to adults only with herbal sauna, Finnish sauna, steam bath, frigidarium and a Kneipp path", with two quiet rooms for afterwards. To these are added four cabins for massages and beauty treatments, one of them designed for two people together, and the panoramic gym. The ground floor, open to all guests, has the whirlpool and the pool, with an indoor part and an outdoor one, connected to the garden.

The age is read in the spa guide, the PDF of the brochure, which is the only place where the house writes which of the two floors is reserved and from what age: "In the wellness, relaxation and fitness area on the 1° floor, access to children up to 15 years of age is not permitted, and from 16 years old on wards only accompanied by an adult". So the reserved floor is the first, the threshold is sixteen years and until the age of majority entry is only when accompanied. The same guide adds two rules worth knowing before booking: "The whirlpool area is a space dedicated to the relaxation and well-being of our guests. To ensure a peaceful and safe environment, children are not permitted in this area", and, on the pool, "From 7:00 - 9:30 and 18:30 - 20:00, access to the pool and whirlpool area is restricted to adults only". An age rule applies to the treatments as well: appointments for those not yet eighteen are made with a parent or a guardian, who must remain present during the session.

The rule on swimwear is stated, and it is the one that leaves the choice open: "Access to our saunas is permitted both with and without swimwear. We kindly ask all guests to respect each other's personal choices and comfort. In all cases, the use of a towel is mandatory when entering the saunas". The pool towel is given out by the spa reception, bathrobe and slippers are in the room and you can arrive at the spa already dressed that way. Again in the guide, the house asks guests to speak quietly, to keep the telephone on silent, to use headphones for any electronic device, to shower before the pool, the whirlpool and the saunas, and warns that there is no diving and no playing in the pool.

Booking, which is the fallback, read twice with and without a child in the search and with real dates, confirms the address Via ai Monti della Trinita 44 in Locarno, classifies the house as four star and republishes the same rule as the guide: in the wellness, relaxation and fitness area on the first floor children up to fifteen years are not allowed and from sixteen entry is only when accompanied by an adult. The conditions declare that children of all ages are welcome and that from thirteen years upwards they pay as adults, and the rules add that pets are welcome, with the possibility of a surcharge and with bowls available. In neither of the two readings does the wording "Adults only" appear. The two sources, here, say the same thing.

One thing to know for those booking in winter: on the wellness page the house announces a closure for extraordinary maintenance from 18 to 24 January 2027 inclusive, with the pool and the whirlpool reopening on 23 January and the wellness department, the gym and the treatment cabins on the first floor reopening on the 25th.

Frequently asked questions

From what age can you enter the reserved floor of the Oasi Belvedere?

From sixteen, and until eighteen only when accompanied. The spa guide writes "In the wellness, relaxation and fitness area on the 1° floor, access to children up to 15 years of age is not permitted, and from 16 years old on wards only accompanied by an adult". The Booking page publishes the same rule, in Italian.

Do you enter the sauna with swimwear?

As you prefer. The spa guide writes "Access to our saunas is permitted both with and without swimwear. We kindly ask all guests to respect each other's personal choices and comfort. In all cases, the use of a towel is mandatory when entering the saunas": swimwear is optional, the towel is compulsory.

Can children use the pool and the whirlpool?

The ground floor pool yes, but not at every hour: the guide writes that from 7.00 to 9.30 and from 18.30 to 20.00 access to the pool and whirlpool area is reserved for adults. The whirlpool area, on the other hand, is closed to children at all times, because the house presents it as a space given over to the rest and the well-being of guests.

Are children allowed in the hotel?

Yes. The house has family rooms, a garden with sun terraces, a play area and the summer restaurant Grotto al Sasso, and one of the four treatment cabins is designed for several people together, couples, families or friends. The Booking conditions, read twice, say that children of all ages are welcome.

Are pets allowed?

Yes. The property's website does not publish a rule on pets; the Booking page, read with real dates, writes that pets are welcome, that surcharges may apply and that the property provides bowls.
