B&B Renalù

The house is in via Privata Primavera, in Verbania, on the Piedmont shore of Lake Maggiore. The owner, Filippo Gabutti, places it in the woods of Monterosso, facing the Borromean gulf, ten minutes from the centre, and points to Suna and Pallanza as the nearest centres for beaches, restaurants and for boarding the boats. Booking measures three point one kilometres from the Botanical Gardens of Villa Taranto, two point one kilometres from the church of the Madonna di Campagna, thirteen kilometres from the Borromean Islands; the station of Verbania-Pallanza is six kilometres away, an osteria nine hundred and fifty metres.

It is a small bed and breakfast, with few rooms. Every unit has free wifi, a flat-screen TV, a fridge, a minibar and an electric kettle; the bathroom is private, with hairdryer, bathrobes and bidet. Depending on the room the view gives onto the swimming pool, the garden, the mountain or the lake. There are a luggage store, a safe, private check-in and check-out and a daily cleaning service. The private parking is free and is on site.

Outside there is a garden with an outdoor swimming pool, sunloungers and deckchairs and a terrace that looks onto the lake and the mountains. There is no sauna, Turkish bath, whirlpool tub or gym: the spa area of this house is the pool in the lawn.

The age rule is read in the children's conditions block on Booking: children are not allowed, and the property has no cots or extra beds. The same page states that no minimum age is required for check-in, so no figure is published and the ban applies to all under-age guests. The page read with a child in the search and read without says the same thing, and in neither reading does any equipment for children appear. No website for the property can be found, so the only source on the age remains Booking.

Breakfast is included and Booking lists it among the strong points of the house. Arrival is between fourteen thirty and twenty thirty, departure between eight and eleven, and the time of arrival must be communicated in advance. Smoking is not allowed and pets are not admitted. Booking lists cash among the accepted methods of payment. Booking lists German, English and French among the languages spoken.
