B&B Casanita is at via Simone Vestano 16, beside piazza Castello, inside the old centre of Vieste: Booking measures one hundred metres from the Castello Svevo Aragonese, 450 metres from the Spiaggia di Pizzomunno, 800 metres from the Gargano National Park and 1.1 kilometres from the Spiaggia di San Lorenzo. The taverns of the old town are fifty metres away, Foggia Gino Lisa airport ninety-five kilometres.

It is a white house of the old town, with the rooms set under stone vaults and the bathrooms clad in pale stone. Booking lists air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a minibar, an electric kettle and a private bathroom with bidet, hairdryer and toiletries, plus a shared lounge and a terrace. The property's website speaks of two terraces looking out over Vieste and the sea, and it is there that breakfast is taken.

On age only Booking speaks: under the children's conditions it writes that children are not allowed, and adds that there are no cots or extra beds. The website bbcasanita.com publishes no rule on age. On the same page Booking gives eighteen as the minimum age for check-in and reports the generic note about accompanied underage guests: these are registration conditions, not access, and this page therefore records the ban with no figure.

There is no pool and no wellness area. Shared life takes place in the indoor lounge and on the terraces; Booking also lists a shared kitchen and a laundry service.

Breakfast is included and generous: Booking describes it as continental, Italian, English or Irish, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, American and buffet. Private parking is available, there is no smoking and pets are not allowed. At check-in a photo document and a credit card are needed.
