Description

Apartma Jadran is at Liminjanska cesta 17, in Lucija, the locality that extends Portorož towards the valley of Sečovlje, in the municipality of Piran. We are a little over twenty metres above sea level, on the first rise behind the bay: the Valeta bus stop is nearby, the Grand Casino of Portorož is eight minutes on foot and the centre of Portorož a quarter of an hour's walk. The archaeological park of Simonov zaliv, opposite Izola, is 4.3 kilometres away, Lake Fiesa 2.5 and Moon Bay is reached in ten minutes by car. It is a position for anyone who wants the sea a step away but sleeps far from the music of the seafront.

The unit is completed by air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen television, a washing machine, an ironing board and iron, a walk-in wardrobe, carpeted floors and a sitting area. Outside there are a patio, a solarium terrace facing the settlement and garden furniture. Wifi is available and the private parking is free. The house declares a safe, smoke detectors and entry by key, that is, management without a reception: arrival is between 15.00 and 20.00, departure between 8.00 and 10.00. There is no smoking and pets are not allowed.

Wellness, pools and the sea, named for what they are

There is no spa and there is no pool; no sauna, steam bath, whirlpool or gym is on record. What there is is access to the beach and the unit's solarium terrace, plus the activities in the area the portal lists: diving, walking, cycling, a tennis court and fishing. The real thermal pools and wellness centres are those of the big hotels of Portorož, a few minutes away.

The rules of access

The property has no official website and all the figures in this entry come from the booking portal, the only source published by the host. The portal writes, in those words, that children are not allowed and classifies the unit as reserved for adults. No minimum age in figures is declared, though: this entry therefore reports the outright ban on minors and, with it, the fact that the threshold in years is published by no one. Anyone travelling with a seventeen-year-old should ask the host for written confirmation before booking.

Who it suits

It suits two couples, or a couple with a lot of luggage, who want space, a separate bedroom and a kitchen, on foot from the centre of Portorož but away from the seafront traffic, with parking included. It suits less anyone looking for the services of a hotel, anyone who wants a spa and a pool, anyone who cannot bear carpet and anyone bringing a dog.
