Amàre Beach Hotel Marbella - Adults Only Recommended

The Amare Beach Hotel Marbella is in avenida Severo Ochoa, on the seafront of Marbella, a few steps from the beach and from the old centre, which is easily reached on foot. Puerto Banus is seven kilometres away, Malaga airport fifty-four, a little under forty minutes by car. It is a four-star hotel at once urban and seaside, with the beach club on the sand, the pool area with two basins and the whirlpool, the Belvue Rooftop Bar on the ninth floor facing the Mediterranean and La Concha, and the djs who accompany the day without ever raising the volume too far.

Wellness, pools and the rule on age

The spa carries the Germaine de Capuccini name and includes a hydrotherapy circuit, reserved relaxation areas and a card of massages and facial treatments built with the wellness adviser Christine Heckel, from anti-ageing rituals to sound massages with Tibetan bowls. For stays of more than one night the hydrotherapy circuit is included once per person. The Technogym gym is open twenty-four hours and the yoga classes are held three times a week. On the official website no detailed list of the circuit's cabins appears, so the presence of a sauna and a steam bath remains to be checked directly with the property: anyone who cares should make a telephone call before booking. There are two pools, both outdoors, with chlorinated water and opening from nine to nineteen, service at the lounger and no booking of loungers.

The rule on age is blunt and concerns the whole hotel, not just the spa: Amare Marbella is an adults-only hotel and the minimum age for staying is sixteen. There are no areas for families, so the pool, the beach, the restaurants and the wellness area all have the same public. Pets are not allowed, parking is paid and is requested at reception on arrival.
