Alma Hotel

The Alma Hotel is at via Mariano Stabile 136, in the Ruggero Settimo district, the nineteenth-century part of Palermo that opens out behind piazza Politeama and runs down towards the old centre. It is a three-star superior boutique hotel reserved for adults only, with twelve rooms and a management you feel in every detail. On foot you reach the Teatro Massimo, the Quattro Canti, the Cathedral, the Martorana and piazza Pretoria, while a step from the door run via Principe di Belmonte, via Ruggero Settimo and via Libertà, the city's drawing room of shop windows and open-air cafés. In the other direction the historic markets begin, Ballarò, il Capo and the Vucciria.

The rooms

The accommodation ranges from sixteen to forty-five square metres. The standard doubles measure sixteen square metres, those with a balcony twenty, the Deluxe Suite reaches forty-five and has two forty-six-inch televisions. All of them have a latex and memory foam mattress with four pillows, a private bathroom with a rain shower, a desk, a safe, a minibar, a kettle with tea, herbal teas and coffee, international sockets, a television with the Sky package and air conditioning. The fibre runs at a thousand megabits and is free throughout the property.

Breakfast and services

Breakfast is the moment the hotel invests in most: a sweet and savoury buffet with artisan cakes from the Sicilian tradition prepared daily, yoghurt, fresh seasonal fruit, cured meats and cheeses from the island, with gluten-free options on request. There are then a bar, room service, a concierge, luggage storage, transfers to and from the airport, private or public parking by reservation, check-in from fourteen to twenty-two and check-out between eight and eleven, with the option of registering online before arriving. There is no wellness area: the Alma is a city hotel, designed for anyone who wants to sleep well and go out on foot.
